- Breast implant incisions underneath your breasts (inframammary) – incisions around the nipple (periariolar) can impact sensitivity
- Breast implant placement underneath the muscles in your chest (submuscular) – implants placed above chest muscles (subglandular) can compress milk ducts

- Less chance of visible aesthetic imperfections
- Less visibility of implants
- Less interference with mammograms
